AFTER CARE ADVICE: THE DOES AND DON’TS

ANTIWRINKLES

  • Do not massage or rub the treated area for 3 days: No “facials”.

  • Do not practice vigorous exercise, avoid sweating.

  • Do not expose to the Sun or have sunbathing (including using sunbeds).

  • Do not have any sauna for 2 days and avoid extreme heat on the treatment area (some sources of

  • extreme heat are hair removal procedures, as lasers, IPL, hot wax, or even a hair dryer, etc).

  • Do not go to the hairdresser for 2 days, including having dyes for the hair.

  • Do not apply makeup immediately after the treatment.

  • Avoid contact with possible sources of infection on the area.

  • Do have normal life, meaning there is no problem with a glass of wine, for example.

  • Do wait for some days for the effect to appear.

  • Any bruising should settle down in a few days.




HYPERHIDROSIS

  • Do not practice vigorous exercise, avoid sweating.

  • Do not expose to the Sun or have sunbathing (including using sunbeds) for some days.

  • Do not have any sauna for some days and avoid extreme heat on the treated area (some sources of

  • extreme heat are hair removal procedures, as lasers, IPL, hot wax, or even a hair dryer, etc).

  • Do not go to the hairdresser for 2 days, including having dyes for the hair, if the treated area was

  • forehead.

  • Do not have direct contact with any sources of contamination for some hours. This is especially

  • important on hands, so avoid contaminated products, as soil, or doing gardening, or touching pets.


DERMAL FILLERS

  • Do not massage the area, except if you were given specific instruction to do it.

  • Do not apply makeup immediately after the treatment. Wait for some hours (next day even better)

  • Do not expose to the Sun or have sunbathing (including using sunbeds).

  • Avoid contact with possible sources of infection on the area (puppets, children activities as gardening, ...).


Lip filler


  • Do have normal life, meaning there is no problem with a glass of wine, for example.

  • The affected area may be a bit red, sore and swollen for some hours.

  • Any swelling or bruising should settle down in a few days.

  • If you feel uncomfortable after the treatment, a cold pack could be applied and also you could take a Paracetamol as a pain killer (if there is no allergy or other known contraindication).

  • In case of any other symptom, as redness, changes in the colour of the skin, pain, or any other unusual reaction, please call promptly to the clinic to assess the condition.
